The Laboratory Services Assistant is the Facilities Operations face for the Laboratory team. This is a very hands-on role that brings a great entry-level opportunity to join the company and learn from the laboratory, while interacting with different teams.



Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily lab waste management, including hazardous and chemical waste

Operate autoclaves to prepare sterile materials, reagents, and equipment

Ensure that operations and maintenance are conducted in accordance with STEMCELL's Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO13485 documentation deficiencies and non-conformances and complete reports as required

Monitor and maintain daily inventory of supplies

Adhere to and contribute to promoting a high level of safety within the laboratory and building environments

Knowledge and Qualifications

Minimum High School or Post-secondary certificationa,

Lifting up to 40 lbs. of material in a dynamic environment

Highly organized with strong time management and documentation skills

Safety oriented mindset and detail oriented

Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
