Laboratory Analyst

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate lab analysis and maintaining the highest standards of quality. This position is perfect for detail-oriented professionals with strong microscopy skills and a passion for precision in laboratory work.

A Day in life of a Laboratory Analyst at Pinchin:

Perform analysis of building materials and insulation samples for asbestos content by Polarized Light Microscopy Entering data and preparing reports Quality control of samples from both internal and external sources

What you bring to the Pinchin team:

Diploma or university degree in a related discipline Strong background in laboratory procedures and/or microscopy Ability to differentiate the full spectrum of visible colour Knowledge of Polarized Light Microscopy and Optical Mineralogy will be considered as asset Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) will be considered an asset Be detail-oriented, able to develop and maintain a highly organized work environment, and to effectively prioritize tasks Ability to work in a busy environment Strong verbal and written communication skills
