Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled
Lab Technician
with knowledge ofCSA A23.4 standards
to join our Quality Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all products meet CSA requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine testing of concrete and aggregates in accordance with
CSA A23.4
standards. Prepare, cure, and test concrete samples (slump flow, cylinders, air content, density, etc.). Maintain accurate lab reports and quality control records. Calibrate and maintain testing equipment. Assist with inspections of precast products to ensure compliance with specifications. Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues. Perform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:
Knowledge of
CSA A23.4
standards.ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Certification
(required or ability to obtain). Previous experience in concrete or construction materials testing preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, data entry). Physically capable of lifting and handling at least 25kgJob Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
