What You'll Do
As our Lab Technician/Administrator, you'll be the backbone of our Burnaby Occupational Health Clinic, managing everything from patient intake and medical testing to clinic operations and administrative coordination. Your days will blend hands-on clinical work with operational excellence--you'll conduct vital health screenings (pulmonary function, audiograms, vision tests, drug & alcohol testing), support physician medicals, manage patient records and lab results, coordinate appointments, and keep our facility running smoothly. Whether you're drawing blood, performing EKGs, conducting urinalysis, or preparing patients for evaluation, you'll bring professionalism and care to every interaction.
Note:
While experience in specific testing areas is a valuable asset, WMC is committed to training and supporting your professional development. Audio Certification is required for audiograms, and we'll arrange the necessary training.
Who You Are

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Exceptional communication abilities (verbal and written)
Natural multitasker with superior time management in fast-paced environments
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent customer service skills
Current CPR certification
Medical lab technician or medical office administrator experience is preferred, as is post-secondary education in medical administration or related fields.
