KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Manager, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities:
? Under minimal technical direction, performs quality control analyses of raw materials and products as per Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Test Methods
? Operates, calibrates and maintains standard laboratory equipment and instrumentation
? Performs other QC functions of the production processes
? Maintains neat and accurate records of observations and results of work performed
? Questions irregularities, reports anomalies and suggests corrective action
? Follow processes pointing out deviations from specifications and procedures
? Responsible for specific administrative duties
? Become Nuclear Energy Worker.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
? Normally, Technologist Diploma (3-year) in a science discipline
? Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
? Must be proficient in performing Standard Test Methods within the stated degrees of accuracy and precision
? Familiar with Good Laboratory Practices
? Knowledge in basic radiation principles
? Knowledge of detection and measurement of radioactivity
? Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
? Contact with production and technical support groups are required.
