We are looking for highly organized individual dedicated to laboratory technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

The Lab Technician will support laboratory activities related to the development, production, and quality testing of in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products. This role involves hands-on experimental work, reagent preparation, sample handling, equipment operation, and accurate documentation under a regulated quality management system (ISO 13485).

Laboratory Operations & Experimentation?

Prepare, process, and analyze biological samples, reagents, and materials according to established protocols. Perform assigned laboratory experiments independently, including data collection, data analysis, and preparation of technical summaries. Assist in test kit production activities such as reagent preparation, membrane processing, and product assembly when required. Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records, ensuring full traceability of test development and production activities.

Equipment Operation & Maintenance?

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as pipettes, centrifuges, incubators, spectrophotometers, and LFA-related equipment. Conduct routine calibration checks and report equipment malfunctions promptly. Ensure all instruments are used safely and in compliance with laboratory procedures.

Quality & Compliance?

Follow laboratory safety guidelines, biosafety practices, and quality control procedures. Support verification and quality testing of intermediate and finished IVD products according to SOPs. Assist in environmental monitoring, housekeeping, and compliance with ISO 13485 requirements.

Laboratory Support Activities?

Clean, disinfect, and sanitize workspaces, benches, and instruments following hygiene and safety standards. Prepare buffers, diluents, and other laboratory reagents with proper labeling and documentation. Perform literature or online technical research as assigned to support ongoing development activities.

Qualifications

Required?

Hands-on experience with common laboratory techniques (e.g., accurate pipetting, sample handling, ELISA, PCR, Western Blot preferred). Familiarity with operating and maintaining general laboratory equipment. Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain precise and complete laboratory documentation. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and quality processes.

Education?

Bachelor's degree in life science field such as molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, immunology, or related disciplines. Diploma holders with strong practical laboratory experience will also be considered.

Preferred?

Experience in IVD, rapid tests, or regulated laboratory environments. Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an asset.
