The position is responsible for the operation of laboratory analysers and producing test results that will be verified by a Medical Laboratory TechnologistREPORTS TO: Technical Manager, HPHA Laboratory ServicesDATE REQUIRED: As soon as possibleSALARY: $32.95 to $34.96 per hourQUALIFICATIONS:- Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician Certification- Graduate of an accredited MLA training program and having successfully completed the CSMLS MLA examinationEXPERIENCE:- Recent related experience in a similar setting preferred.ABILITIES:- Familiar with phlebotomy techniques.- Familiar with all types of blood collection- Familiar with Lab Analysers.- Computer literate.- Organized and self-directed.- Works well under supervision and with others.- Good communication skills.APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL THE POSITION IS FILLEDPlease be advised that we are no longer accepting emailed or paper-based resumes.
