NTS Ltd. is a technical services company that specializes in the staffing and supply of technical, laboratory and coring services. The company supplies both staffing solutions and total project management of technical services.



NTS Ltd. is currently seeking a positive, energetic individual to fill the position of Unit Lab Supervisor.

Education:

A post-secondary education in Science - either a 2 year Laboratory Technician Diploma or 4 year B.Sc. (Chemistry is preferred)

Requirements:

5+ years experience in an industrial quality control laboratory 3+ years Supervisory experience or progressively responsible roles Strong analytical chemistry and lab instrumentation background Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration skills Ability to anticipate potential problems and solve problems under pressure Continuous improvement mindset and drive to constantly learn and improve knowledge of lab and operation's process A zero tolerance for procedure deviation or safety violations Alignment with NTS values - with safety being the highest priority Ethical values - "do what is right and do what is fair"

Responsibilities:

Provide direction, support, and training to Lab technicians Ensure and enforce all lab and field activities comply with safety policies, stands, and regulations Manage the workload and scheduling Maintain an inventory and ensure required laboratory consumables and chemical inventory is stocked Maintain a collaborative relationship and provide prompt service to Extraction Operations Foster a safety first culture Identify, investigate, and correct safety issues and loss and implement preventative measures

Complete and submit daily personnel timesheets to NTS Administrator/Accounting Clerk. Organize Special Project sampling and/or analysis

o Collect and analyze monthly QA/QC samples
