Lab Management engineering team requires an inventory support specialist to support engineering activities within the R&D global products group.

• To provide lab inventory support responsibilities including:
• Control and tracking of all lab equipment and materials using GEMS (Oracle dB) inventory control system
• Receives delivered supplies, materials, and telecomm equipment using the inventory control system (GEMS). Confirms that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition and model number. Co-ordinate the shipment of equipment and materials as requested including marshalling, scanning and shipping paperwork in co-operation with the logistics team.
• Maintains organization of the lab, stockroom and receiving areas to ensure efficient and proper storage and handling of all equipment.
• Maintains labelling systems for all Lab equipment and locations.
• Assists in conducting periodic physical inventory scans.
• Support other lab functional teams in the moves/deployment/decommissioning of lab systems.
• Use the JIRA tracking system to monitor and complete all assigned inventory requests.
• Provide daily stockroom support to all lab designers including loans/returns of equipment.
• Monitor and resolve all inventory noncompliance reports
• Works to established lab operating processes and policies (inventory management, ESD, Health and Safety regulations)
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
