Job Description

Our centre in Country Hills NW is currently hiring:

- Early Learning assistants who will work directly with younger students (pre K , K & gr 1-3)

We are looking for individuals to work between 7-10 hours per week in an education environment.

Early Learning Teaching assistants will be working and interacting with young children, guiding them on our math and reading program, teaching them new skills, building their confidence, and making a difference by providing a fun and enjoyable environment. Primary duties will include grading student classwork and homework, and working with young students directly. Other duties will also include assisting / tutoring students with questions, general office tasks and housekeeping chores.

Requirements:

Must be focused, diligent, and enjoy working with children

Outgoing and service oriented personality.

Energetic & proactive (e.g.ability to work well under pressure & multitask).

Punctual, well organized, detailed oriented, and reliable.

Must be respectful and polite, show professionalism, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.

Previous tutoring experiences highly desirable.

Experience working with younger children a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
