Job Description

Sprott Shaw Language College Toronto is looking for Student Advisor / Marketer for our Korean students. Main Responsibilities include:

• Promoting our schools and our programs
• Maintaining existing relationships, and building new partnerships with local and international Korean education agents
• Counselling current students on their program choices and activities to make their experience in Canada the best it can be
• Working with our Admissions team to process registrations
• Developing promotions and managing a marketing budget
• Providing detailed information about school programs to current and potential students, and counselling trial students based on their needs and wants
• Helping students with school rules, admission procedures, entrance exams, and payments for programs and activities
• Coordinating with other departments to resolve any student concerns
• Representing our schools at promotional events (may include international education fairs and / or local marketing events)
• Completing various administrative duties associated with the position

Essential Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Korean; strong communication skills
• Knowledge of Canadian and Market culture
• 2+ years experience working with international students and the ability to work with a variety of cultures
• Diplomacy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to cope with a variety of situations
• University degree or college diploma with a focus on Marketing, or a combination of education and experience that reflects the environment
