Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Account Manager to join our Kool-Ray Team in Atlantic Canada. This role is vital in strengthening client relationships and driving business growth aligned with Imperial Manufacturing's mission of excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, measure, and implement the actions and strategies of the company's sales activities and territory, as well as meet or exceed the expected sales budget.
Continually work to identify new clients which will meet the profitability targets established by the company, through making cold and warm calls to potential clients and generate sales leads through various sources, as well as track any lost customers
Prepare call reports for client visits and ensure the client database is kept current re: all customer contacts and activities
Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of products or services, ensure delivery of client requirements as per contractual agreement re: estimate and quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
Initiate market research as required and analyze the findings re: competition, new product development, customers, environmental factors, and the industry, as well as assist in product development and provide customer feedback to division
Work closely with the National Sales Manager to prepare and measure the annual sales plans to include budgets, profitability, sales growth, target markets, sales by customer and sales by product
Organize and take part in conferences and workshops for the purpose of sales generation, networking, continued professional education etc.
Provide suggestions to the product division on continuous improvement activity and assist in solving issues around quality and warranty issues, as well as possible new product development opportunities
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Requires a university degree or college diploma in business administration or in a related field with a specialization in sales or marketing or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience as a sales or marketing representative
Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office
Able to work well with others and with minimal supervision
Able to adapt to changing priorities and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative
Strong oral and written communication, as well as excellent presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership in problem solving, decision-making, job task planning, critical thinking
Proven successful sales experience and customer service
Able to travel as required by the position
Able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion
Experience working with product in a manufacturing environment is an asset
