Duties

Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients, cooking simple dishes, and plating meals as needed. Handle food items safely and responsibly, following proper food handling procedures. Participate in serving meals during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high-quality food service. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred. Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes. Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed within the kitchen. Must have proserve certificate Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
