Prep Shift:

Part-Time Smokehouse Supervisor

to help manage our team and ensure our kitchen runs smoothly.

Position Overview:



As a Smokehouse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in helping to manage a small team of staff during prep and evening shifts. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that cleaning duties are consistently completed, and guiding the team in prepping food items. This role requires someone with leadership skills, the ability to hold the team accountable, and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:



Supervise and Manage Team:

Oversee a small team of kitchen staff during prep and evening shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Prep Work:

Assist with and oversee food prep tasks, ensuring everything is properly prepared for the next day's production.

Cleaning Oversight:

Ensure team members are held accountable for regular cleaning duties and maintaining a tidy, safe kitchen environment.

Inventory Management:

Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks, making sure all supplies are stocked and ready for the upcoming shifts.

Quality Control:

Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards before they are smoked and served.

Team Development:

Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, helping them improve their skills and efficiency.

Qualifications:



Previous kitchen or smokehouse experience. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks at once. Ability to work evenings, with flexibility in shift scheduling. Knowledge of food safety practices and cleaning standards. A team player who can motivate and hold others accountable.
