Position Summary:

Planters Ridge Winery is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and innovative Kitchen Coordinator/Cook to join our team. Nestled in a picturesque setting, our kitchen provides a excellent atmosphere for you to display your culinary skills using fresh, local ingredients. This is a wonderful chance to be part of a dedicated team and help create delicious dishes that pair beautifully with our wines. We have a small kitchen and serve simple fresh food and would love to have a new perspective on what we are offering. With daytime shifts and very limited evening hours, this role promotes an excellent work-life balance for culinary professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create high-quality dishes utilizing seasonal, local produce that showcases the region's flavors. Ensure the kitchen remains clean and organized, adhering to food safety standards. inventory management, including stock organization, rotation, food costing, and ordering supplies when necessary. Foster a positive and supportive team culture, promoting collaboration and excellence. Work closely with front of house staff
Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in a professional kitchen setting. A genuine passion for working with local ingredients and crafting beautiful, flavorful dishes. Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Capability to work effectively within a team and adapt to evolving priorities. Availability for daytime shifts, including weekends.
Compensation:

Starting pay ranges from $19 to $22 per hour, based on experience.
