We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in restaurant management. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering exceptional service to our guests. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality food preparation. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards. Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to food service. Utilize POS systems for order processing and tracking.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations. Experience with interviewing and training new staff members is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems to facilitate efficient order management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
