We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with proven leadership skills to manage kitchen operations effectively. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, ensure food safety standards are met, and maintain a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily food preparation activities.
Ensure that all food handling and safety procedures are followed according to health regulations.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and customer service.
Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
Conduct interviews for new kitchen staff and participate in the hiring process.
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within the food industry.
Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
