Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to food safety. This role requires effective team management and leadership skills, ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Manage inventory control and ordering of supplies to maintain optimal stock levels. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance. Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service. Assist in menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train new staff on kitchen procedures, food handling, and safety protocols. Monitor food quality and presentation to meet fine dining standards. Collaborate with the catering team for special events and banquets. Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and work areas to maintain cleanliness and organization. Handle shift management responsibilities, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours.

Qualifications



Proven experience in kitchen management or supervisory roles within the food industry. Strong background in food production, preparation, and service management. Experience in catering/ Banquet services is preferred. Knowledge of dietary department practices is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Proficient in inventory management and control processes. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene practices. Culinary experience with a focus on cooking techniques across various cuisines. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
