We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our cafe. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of food safety. The Kitchen Team Member will play a vital role in meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.
Duties
Assist in meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during food handling
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
Serve food efficiently to customers or assist servers as needed
Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and kitchen operations
Restock supplies and ensure all ingredients are stored properly
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Qualifications
Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus but not mandatory
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of the food industry and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Must have SafeCheck Advanced Food Safety Certification

Pay: From $17.75 per hour
