Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and cooking, following recipes and portion control guidelines. Ensure all food items are prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Support the serving team by preparing plates and assisting with food service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient kitchen operations. Participate in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the kitchen.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling best practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management. A passion for the food industry and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
