We are currently looking for an individuals who are motivated and always ready to jump into the action. Here at Famous Dave's, we are about great BBQ being made from scratch! We maintain a high-volume of takeout and delivery business, catering and full service dine in experience. We are looking for our next new Leaders help us maintain this high-volume and become apart of our Famous Family.
At Famous Dave's, our Management Team is dedicated to Guest Service and hospitality. Always working with the guest's best interest in mind. Our Famous Management team works side by side with our Famous Team to execute and deliver amazing Scratch made BBQ.
We are aiming to have someone who is looking for a long-term career with the company and would like to grow with us as we expand our footprint in Manitoba and Beyond. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager and the General Manager.
Potential Candidate Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 3 years Kitchen Management Experience in a Full Serve Resturant
Experience with Inventory and Optimum Control Program
Ordering, Scheduling and Forecasting experience.
Valid Food Safety Certificate
Experienced with Scratch Cooking Operations.
Open Availability (including Weekends, Evenings, Day time & Holidays)
Be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time
Be initiative-taking and ready to work
Be able to manage pressure with a professional attitude
Be able to lift more than 50lbs
Have great Time Management skills
Be able to lead more than fifteen employees in the kitchen and growing!!
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Duties Include but are not Limited to:
Preparation, Execution, and Finishing of all menu items to Famous Specification.
Operations of Culinary Team, including Prep, Line, Dish Team and beyond.
Coaching, Training, and Motivating Our Famous Team to be the Best of the Best.
Inventory Counting, and Control.
Forecasting Labour and Scheduling of Culinary Team.
Forecasting Sales, and Par Levels for Departments.
Give feedback, recommendations, and input into new menu items, changes, LTO's etc.
