Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Kitchen Manager

to oversee our daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Kitchen Manager will play a vital role in maintaining efficient kitchen operations, and upholding the restaurant's reputation for excellence.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met. Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations. Manage food safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations and industry standards. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food handling procedures to minimize waste and control costs. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Lead team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training initiatives. Implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity. Assist in interviewing candidates for kitchen staff positions to build a skilled team. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with hospitality standards.

Experience

Proven supervising experience in restaurant management or food service environments. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards. Strong team management skills with the ability to lead diverse staff members effectively. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of food handling regulations and food safety certifications preferred. Previous experience in the food industry with a focus on restaurant management or kitchen operations.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
