We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality, maintaining safety standards, and delivering an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, food preparation, and presentation.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling techniques to maintain a safe working environment.
Train new employees on kitchen procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal availability.
Monitor food quality and consistency to meet established standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
Address any customer concerns or feedback regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry is essential.
Strong background in supervising kitchen staff and managing operations in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Experience with POS systems is preferred for efficient transaction processing.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
A culinary background as a cook or chef is advantageous but not mandatory for this position.
