We are seeking a dynamic and energetic

Kitchen Manager

to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for the residents of our Senior Independent Living community, as well as overseeing food service in our lounge. As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety and quality standards are met, and foster a positive team culture. Your leadership will drive efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction, making every dining experience memorable. Responsibilities

Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, to ensure consistency and excellence. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Planning menus for our Residents Coordinating with our lounge on Special Functions and events Creating and managing the kitchen schedule, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours. Managing Residents weekly menu counts Conducting monthly Food Inventory

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. 3-5 years of Kitchen experience with a minimum of 3 years experience as a kitchen manager WHMIS and Food Safe Certified Familiarity with inventory control practices, food safety regulations, and food handling procedures. Valid Drivers' License and willingness to use car on occasion Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Experience working in diverse food environments such as seniors facilities, catering and banquet services Computer literacy for Microsoft Office applications Ability to work flexible hours including morning, days and evenings as well as weekends and holidays based on business needs Criminal Record Check is required

Pay: $67,112.34-$72,112.34 per year
