We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and kitchen management, demonstrating exceptional leadership and organizational skills. This role is crucial in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety while delivering excellent customer service.
Duties
Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and cooking processes.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on food handling, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional customer service.
Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new kitchen staff as needed.
Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients while adhering to budget constraints.
Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
Experience
Proven experience in a kitchen management role within the food industry or restaurant setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Micros POS, is preferred.
Previous supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership development.
