Cook & Kitchen Lead
-- someone who loves hands-on cooking but is also excited to
help with menu creation, plating, inventory management, and training new kitchen staff

This is a
hybrid role
: you'll spend most of your time cooking and plating dishes, but you'll also play a key role in shaping the kitchen workflow, creating new menu items, and keeping the kitchen organized.
What You Will Do
Prepare and cook brunch and cafe-style dishes with consistency, accuracy, and speed
Assist with menu development, including
creating new menu items and calculating food costs
Execute
high-quality plating and presentation
for every dish
Train newly hired kitchen staff
Manage daily prep, ensure proper food handling, and follow food safety standards
Monitor kitchen workflows and help maintain smooth service during busy periods
Oversee inventory
, track stock levels, and
place orders
as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
Collaborate closely with the FOH and BOH team in a respectful, supportive environment
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience
as a Cook or Line Cook in a professional kitchen
Strong knowledge of brunch-style cooking, comfort food, and cafe-style dishes
Ability to stay calm, organized, and efficient during high-volume service
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work habits
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Creativity and passion for food, with an eye for presentation
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a cafe or restaurant setting.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Previous experience in a similar role.
