We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and service run smoothly. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen while supporting chefs and cooks in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service. Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment. Support cooks by providing necessary supplies and ingredients during meal preparation. Clean kitchen equipment and utensils as needed to ensure compliance with health standards. Assist in stocking inventory and managing supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with basic kitchen equipment and food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen. Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and cooking techniques.
