We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. LMIA WILL BE PRVIDED. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the kitchen environment. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to learn more about food service in a restaurant or hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Support the team during meal service by delivering food items to designated areas.
• Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts to ensure a hygienic work environment.
• Follow instructions from kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food preparation.
• A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service is essential.
