We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient food preparation process. Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Help in meal preparation by following recipes and instructions from the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations. Support cooks and chefs in various tasks as needed to ensure timely meal service. Stock supplies and ingredients as required, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored. Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment by cleaning and performing basic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced cooks and chefs. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
