We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and following recipes as directed by the cook or chef. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support the cooking staff by ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available during meal service. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food is handled correctly and safely throughout the preparation process. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to develop skills within the culinary field.
