Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in daily food preparation and service. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a willingness to learn and grow within our team.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for meal service Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers/ supervisor Help with food handling and storage to ensure freshness and safety standards are maintained Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Serve food to customers or staff as directed, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Assist with dishwashing and sanitation duties to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, cooking, and cleaning processes Most of the shifts will be evenings,nights and weekends

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food handling

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
