As a Kitchen helper/Cashier, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return.

Duties

Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Assist with cashiering duties, including processing payments and handling cash transactions accurately. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to ensure smooth order processing. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both the dining area and kitchen, ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers. Support food service operations by preparing and serving food items as required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and assist with food handling as needed. Help maintain inventory levels by restocking supplies and reporting shortages to management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage with guests effectively. Familiarity with cashiering procedures and experience using POS systems is a plus. Knowledge of working in commercial kitchens, food handling practices and sanitation standards is desirable. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
