Join our team at a vibrant Indian restaurant in Halifax! We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers who are passionate about delivering exceptional service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently

Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner

Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests

Upsell menu items and promote daily specials

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area

Handle cash and process payments using the POS system

Assist with food preparation as needed

Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.

Familiarize yourself with the menu and be able to make recommendations to guests based on their preferences.

Accurately take and process food and beverage orders from guests.

Set up and maintain clean and well-presented tables, ensuring they are promptly cleared after guests finish their meals.

Effectively communicate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.

Address customer concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service role is must, with a focus on hospitality.

Familiarity with Indian cuisine and the ability to describe menu items to guests is advantageous.

Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements:

A positive and friendly attitude.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Eligibility to work in Canada.
