We are a service-based organization made up of great people who work hard to get the job done and deliver excellence in the communities where we work and live.Description:ATCO Frontec is seeking a General Kitchen Helper to join our Nisutlin Bay Bridge Lodge in Teslin, Yukon. As the General Kitchen Helper, you will play a key role with food preparation, sanitation, and safety by actively following our health and safety procedures.Responsibilities:

  • To work safely with all the equipment
  • The basic preparation of food, including the preparation of vegetables and snacks.
  • Kitchen, general equipment, and facility clean up (table, floors, etc.)
  • Responsible for inspecting the equipment and food on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Ensure your station is always manned and supplies are fully stocked
  • Follow requirements of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
  • Other duties as assigned by management from time to time
Qualifications:
  • Valid Food Safe Certificate
  • Experience working in a camp, kitchen or restaurant environment is considered an asset
  • Excellent people skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised or unsupervised.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Team player
