We are seeking a dedicated and passionate cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy delicious and safe meals, while also contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

Experience

Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is required. Previous experience on the grill is required on a minimum 2 years. Strong knowledge of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, as well as safety protocols within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy great meals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
