Duties
Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure high-quality dishes are served efficiently
Support menu planning efforts by providing input based on culinary experience and customer preferences
Prepare ingredients and cook dishes following established recipes and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, adhering to food safety standards at all times
Serve food to guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service
Help with catering events by setting up, serving, and managing food stations
Follow proper knife skills and food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food preparation tasks
Skills
Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant service environments
Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety protocols
Experience with fine dining or catering settings is a plus
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
Familiarity with the food industry standards for food handling and sanitation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
