Decorama is a custom cabinetry design and build company serving the Greater Toronto Area for over 20 years. We specialize in high-quality kitchen cabinetry, vanities, and built-ins, offering tailored solutions to homeowners, interior designers, contractors, and builders.
We are looking for a kitchen designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about cabinetry design, highly organized, and skilled in both design and client relations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and drafting: Create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen designs using AutoCAD (Mozaik Software knowledge is a bonus).
Client consultations: Work with homeowners, designers, contractors, and builders to develop custom kitchen and cabinetry solutions.
Showroom management: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom for clients and industry professionals.
Project coordination: Oversee projects from design to completion, ensuring accurate execution of client specifications.
Sales and quotations: Provide design presentations and prepare quotes based on client needs.
Administrative tasks: Answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage order coordination.
Site visits: Conduct site measurements and collaborate with contractors or designers for seamless project execution.
Skills & Experience
At least 1 year of experience in kitchen design, cabinetry, or interior design preferred.
Strong AutoCAD skills required; Mozaik Software experience is an asset.
Ability to engage with clients and industry professionals to present designs.
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
Ability to calculate pricing, quotes, and measurements accurately.
Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
Schedule
Full-time (30 - 40 hours per week)
8-hour shifts
In-person position at our Toronto showroom
