Summary

Kitchen is seeking a talented Culinary Professional to join our team. Located in the heart of Old Strathcona, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a beloved local establishment known for its innovative menu and exceptional service. As part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences that align with our commitment to quality and community. The successful candidate will have a flexible schedule and be able to work closes.

Responsibilities

Kitchen responsibilities include:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with attention to quality and presentation Closing the restaurant and setting up for the following day. Insuring that all the closing tasks are properly finished to high standards. Assist in menu planning and recipe development Ensure food safety standards are consistently met Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service Support catering events and special functions as needed Manage inventory and stock levels efficiently Uphold the company's standards for culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

Proven dietary department or dietary aide experience Strong culinary skills, including knife skills and food preparation Experience in fine dining or similar high-quality food environments Knowledge of food safety protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Preferred qualifications include: Menu planning expertise Experience with catering or large-scale food service Excellent communication skills Passion for culinary innovation and customer service excellence. Ability to work alone and self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
