About the Role: Kitchen Lead / Supervisor:
As a Kitchen Shift Lead, you're responsible for keeping the kitchen running smoothly and supporting your team throughout service. You'll organize the day's workflow, communicate clearly, and maintain high standards for food quality, speed, and consistency.
You'll work closely with the Chef to ensure daily priorities align with the kitchen's broader goals--while fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone on shift.
In this role, you will:
Lead the team: Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, delegating tasks and maintaining focus through prep and service.
Plan & organize: Write prep sheets, assign jobs, and set clear priorities that align with Chef's direction.
Ensure quality: Monitor food standards, timing, and presentation throughout service.
Communicate clearly: Keep both BOH and FOH teams aligned through verbal and written updates.
Support the team: Jump in where needed--whether it's cooking on the line, problem-solving during a rush, or helping close the kitchen.
Maintain standards: Oversee cleaning, organization, and end-of-shift responsibilities to ensure a smooth handover.

Preferred Experience:
2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
Prior leadership or supervisory experience (Lead Cook, Shift Lead, or similar)
Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen best practices
Strong understanding of prep, service flow, and time management
Familiarity with craft beer or interest in learning
While experience is important, we value attitude, initiative, and communication above all else.
Our Food Program:
We work closely with local farms, foragers, and specialty producers to create an approachable yet meticulously crafted menu. Expect to work with top-quality seasonal ingredients, with a focus on preservation, fermentation, and a rotating, ingredient-driven menu.
Our Craft Beer Program:
We source the best examples of each style from independent craft breweries and pour from 29 constantly rotating taps. Education is key--our goal is to share knowledge and deliver the best possible craft beer experience to our guests.
