Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves crafting high-quality cabinets and furniture, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every project. The Cabinet Maker will work with various materials and tools, contributing to both new installations and restoration projects.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and schematics to create custom cabinets and furniture pieces Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery for precise cutting, shaping, and assembly Perform cabinet installation on-site, ensuring proper fit and finish Engage in restoration projects, bringing new life to existing cabinetry Collaborate with team members on construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry tasks as needed Conduct construction estimating for materials and labor required for projects Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing heavy lifting and operating machinery Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the duration of each project

Experience

Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or a related field is essential Familiarity with construction practices including roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical work, caulking, rebar installation, and assembly is highly desirable Previous maintenance person experience is a plus; candidates should be comfortable with various construction tasks Strong understanding of cabinet installation techniques and restoration processes Ability to lift heavy materials as required by the job duties Experience in manufacturing processes related to cabinetry is beneficial

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
