The Opportunity The Kitchen Assistant is a vital role in the kitchen at Big Cove. They are responsible for helping with the prep of meals, the flow of getting meals out, helping with orders, assisting with dietary needs and much more! This job is demanding in the sense as you will have to be up early to help with the prep of breakfast, then follows for lunch and ends the day with dinner. Once dinner is completely finished, its is the assistant\xe2\x80\x99s job to make sure that the snack is ready for the evening before leaving for the day. The Kitchen assistant work directly with the assistant cook and the food service manager. Qualifications & Skills

• Must be 17 years of age by December 31, 2023
• A minimum of two years working at a summer camp, Kitchens or related experience
• Minimum qualifications: Food Handlers, Standard First Aid and CPR C, WHIMIS
• Strong work ethic
• Positive team-oriented attitude
• Good judgement
• Patience with children and an interest in their growth and development
