Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will work diligently to ensure that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. As a Kitchen Aide, you will work independent to prepare and delivery meals to senior residents, whilst maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with your manager to plan menus and develop recipes that meet customer expectations.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock.
• Prepare, cook, and serve meals to each of our senior residents whilst ensuring to meet their dietary needs.
• Effectively communicate with other staff to ensure each meal is done correctly and on time.
Experience
• Able to work independently and run the operations of the kitchen department.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques.
• A background in the care industry is beneficial, showcasing an understanding of our senior clientele.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
Schedule:
• Day shift
• Evening shift

• Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
