Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Support chefs and cooks in cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Participate in catering events or special functions as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with cooking techniques, knife skills, and meal preparation is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Culinary experience or restaurant experience will be considered an asset.
