Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, washing, and peeling vegetables and fruits.
Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces before and after use.
Ensure that all food storage areas are kept tidy and organized.
Help in the preparation of basic food items, such as sauces, salads, and side dishes.
Follow health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
Wash dishes and kitchen tools, ensuring they are ready for the next use.
Assist in managing the stock, including labeling and organizing inventory.
Take instructions from chefs and kitchen staff to ensure the smooth flow of kitchen operations.
Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and reduce wastage wherever possible.
Help with deliveries and storing food items when needed.
Skills & Qualifications
:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not essential.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
