Assist cooks and chefs with various kitchen tasks.
Dishwashing and Cleaning:
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or using a dishwasher.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, surfaces, and storage areas.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
Kitchen Maintenance and Sanitation:
Take out trash and recycling and clean garbage containers.
Organize and stock kitchen supplies and equipment.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and adhere to sanitation and safety standards.
Skills and Knowledge
Basic food preparation skills.
Knowledge of basic cleaning and maintenance skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of food safety standards and procedures.
