JOB SUMMARY - Hours 11:00 am - 8:00 pm Wednesday through Sunday
Complete all return transactions for airport customers while following established guidelines, policies and procedures. Provide service and care to customers to ensure satisfaction with an equal emphasis on profitability. Recognize the value of company assets and inventory while paying special attention to efficiency, yield, loss prevention and the image portrayed to customers.
OPERATIONAL
Coach and support Kiosk agents to maintain or exceed standards of performance as outlined in their respective job descriptions and their personal customer service and operational goals.
Ensure professional image of property, staff uniforms and vehicles through maintenance and cleaning.
Ensure Kiosk and returning areas are clean. Keep lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow.
Discreetly check vehicle for damage on incoming vehicles and direct customer to Kiosk for completion of accident report.
Use of proper statement to determine if vehicle is being returned with full tank of gas
Staffing of location including scheduling under the direction of the Location Manager.
Monitor employee performance, conduct performance reviews and implement disciplinary action as necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure preparedness in vehicle availability and fleet utilization prior to customer arrival by completing lot lists - reconcile physical inventory with the computer's records, complete reports and procedures as assigned.
Plan and schedule local staff meetings as required and communicate all internal information, including Memorandums.
Monitor on day-to-day basis all overdue vehicles and communicate with the Distribution Department to minimize Budget's risk.
Liaise with other locations to help with fleet activity including in and out of fleet, vehicle movement from city to city and location to location
When the weather permits, open all trunks of cars parked in the designated Fastbreak stalls.
Meet and greet customers in a professional, courteous manner. Execute VIP protocol and other special services as assigned.
Provide customers with completed rental agreements, keys, instructions on return procedures, directions to rental vehicles, maps, and any other assistance, as required, including assistance with luggage and baggage carts.
Monitoring and ensuring all kiosk staff perform check-ins with the wands and record360. In all transactions, lot list report, new or previous damages, clean vehicles and returned vehicles.
Complete walk-around on all incoming and outgoing vehicles to check for damages, kilometer readings and fuel levels. Upon return, check trunk for spare tires, luggage, etc., check consoles for lost items and send to Customer Service Department with a copy of the rental agreement.
Complete transaction procedures for returned vehicles while ensuring accuracy of charges and calculations. These charges are to be explained to the customer when requested.
Respond to customer questions and concerns in a polite and professional manner. Refer unusual challenges and difficult problems to Airport Management for resolution.
Answer all telephone inquiries utilizing established telephone techniques. All outbound phone calls on behalf of Budget should be made with the utmost regard for etiquette and professionalism.
Complete accident procedures and reports as required.
Maintain workplace cleanliness including mopping floors, cleaning counter and windows, maintaining lot cleanliness, organizing baggage carts, etc. Make sure everything is in working order - report any problems or irregularities to Management.
Sustain an ongoing awareness of car cleanliness and assist when required in service or other areas, as assigned, to clean and move vehicles to designated areas or offices during non-peak periods.
Log off and shutdown computers and printers every night.
Your Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of six months experience in sales, customer service, management or leadership (examples include athletics, organizations/clubs, volunteerism or similar).
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
No drug or alcohol related convictions on Driving Record within the past 5 years (i.e. DUI/DWI).
Must be authorized to work in the Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Strong work ethic
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be okay to work outside in all types of weather, around vehicles.

9-hour shift (with 1 hour break) 11:00 am - 8:00 pm Wednesday through Sunday
