Kinesiologist / Athletic Therapist / Conditioning Specialist
SHAPE Health and Wellness Centres is looking to expand its ever-growing team! We are seeking motivated and energetic Kinesiologists, Athletic Trainers, and Certified Conditioning Specialists to join our team at Toronto's first truly integrated therapy and training boutiques.

At SHAPE, we provide comprehensive care to our clients through a variety of specialized services offered by our elite team of healthcare professionals. The unique and cooperative relationship among our team of diverse specialists allows us to offer truly integrated care. Through a series of treatments administered in a coordinated manner, we ensure that everyone's health goals are achieved. Our continued success is derived from offering one-on-one, personalized therapy and training and consistently providing the highest level of service to our clients.

Includes:



- Fully equipped conditioning centre

- Upscale, private treatment rooms with treatment tables

- Top-of-the-line rehabilitation and therapeutic equipment

- Full-time university educated front desk team to handle all your scheduling

- Lockers, towel service & complimentary bottled water for patients

- Change rooms with private showers and all amenities

- Multidisciplinary team including Chiropractors, Registered Physiotherapists, Naturopathic Doctors, Chiropodists, Registered Massage Therapists, Nutritionists, and Certified Kinesiologists.

Requirements for Conditioning Specialists:



- Current CPR and First Aid certifications

- Background in Kinesiology and Physical Rehabilitation required

- Personal Trainer Certification (NSCA, Can-Fit-Pro, or other)

- CSCS Certification a desirable asset

- Must be able to work cooperatively and constructively with other team members

- Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Responsibilities



Provide patient care and support, ensuring comfort and safety at all times. Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet patient needs. Utilize computer skills to maintain electronic medical records and documentation. Communicate clearly with patients and healthcare team members to facilitate case management. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses. Maintain First Aid and CPR certifications to respond to emergencies. Offer customer service to patients and families, addressing concerns and providing information.
