YOUR ROLEYou will be reporting to the National Director, Key Accounts and will be responsible to plan, organize, oversee and control the business development activities and programs for the Walmart and Metro Ontario accounts.WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsible for meeting and exceeding annual sales targets for your accounts/banners.
Apply sales plans and strategies in line with corporate goals and ensure their implementation with your accounts/banners.
Make sure the products of our new partners are listed in your account/banners.
Analyze the market and competition; establish an action plan for each category with business strategies.
Maintain excellent client relationships.
Draw up annual sales budgets per banner and product category.
Work closely with other departments in the company (marketing, operations, business and partnership development, business strategy, customer service, logistics, finance, etc.).
Manage the budget envelope and commercial expense percentage for accounts/banners.
Negotiate and assess financial returns on business agreements and/or contracts, and take the decisions needed to achieve goals.
Take part in various events organized by various clients and associations.
Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration or marketing
Over 10 years of sales experience in the food industry
Must have led the Walmart as well as the Metro Ontario accounts
Must be proficient in Nielsen data and analytics
Knowledge of Word and Excel in Windows environment
Excellent national-scale knowledge of food distribution and markets
Ability to plan, organize and lead
Functional French (major asset)
