Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Key Account Manager

to lead and grow relationships with our most important retail and distributor partners. You will be the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring exceptional service, strategic growth, and long-term partnership success. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, experience in CPG/retail environments, and the ability to balance business development with account stewardship.

Key Responsibilities



Build and sustain strong relationships with key retail and distributor accounts, ensuring alignment with their business goals and ours. Identify and execute opportunities for growth through upselling, cross-selling, and joint promotional initiatives. Analyze market and account trends to anticipate client needs and position our products strategically. Collaborate cross-functionally (marketing, operations, and supply chain) to deliver flawless execution in stores and ensure client satisfaction. Lead negotiations with buyers and distributors, balancing favorable terms with long-term partnership health. Develop and present account plans, forecasts, and performance reviews to leadership. Use Salesforce (or similar CRM) to track pipeline, monitor account health, and generate insights for decision-making. Represent the brand at key meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.

Qualifications



Proven success in Key Account Management or National Account Management within a B2B environment--ideally in consumer packaged goods, retail, or pet/natural products. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a history of closing deals and growing accounts. Skilled in business development and developing go-to-market strategies with retailers. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making. Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Willingness to travel as needed to maintain strong client relationships. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
