Job Description

A key accounts manager for the food manufacturing industry is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key customers or clients. The following is a typical job description for this role:

Requirements:



Manage and develop relationships with key customers in the industry Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth with key customers Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, quality, regulatory) to ensure timely delivery and product quality Monitor inventory levels at customer locations and ensure product meets quality standards Identify opportunities to increase sales with existing customers and drive new business development Ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of any customer issues or concerns Prepare regular account reports, forecasts and performance analyses Track market trends, customer feedback and competitive activity to inform sales strategies Develop and manage account plans and budgets Prepare and deliver sales presentations to key customers Develop and maintain an understanding of the customer's business and industry Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives Attend industry events, trade shoes and customer meetings as needed.

Qualifications:



2-3 years of account management or sales experience in food service industry Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and brokers Strong Analytical Skills and Business Planning abilities Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze sales data and create actionable reports Ability to work well in a team and independently Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field Ability to travel within and outside Canada On site work, no remote
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
